OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

WINNER SELECTION: Ten Semifinalists (10) (see prize description below) will be selected by the Administrator during a random drawing held on the dates noted above from all eligible entries received during that entry period. The potential semifinalists will be notified by telephone and must claim / accept their prize within 24 hours of the notification. They must complete and submit the following within 48 hours or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting: an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release, a digital photo of the exterior or interior of their home and a 100 words or less essay as to why they deserve to win. The semifinalist’s name, photo and written reason will be posted on the contest page at MyContractor.com where the public may vote for their favorite entrant.

One Finalist will be selected each month for a total of ten (10) Finalists. The semifinalist with the most online votes each month advances to the grand prize round. Voters will be required to enter their name, home address and e-mail address. Only one vote allowed per e-mail address.

One Grand Prize winner (see prize description below) will be selected by a panel of independent Home Restoration experts and announced on 12/15/08. The judging criteria will be: the most creative image, the most creative essay, most compelling reason for winning.

Winner will be required to have their home repairs estimated and the final contract of services signed prior to 1-30-09. The winner may request that additional work be done on their home by MyContractor.com for an additional cost. If the final cost of work is less than $50,000, the winner will not receive the difference in cash.

No prize substitutions, transfers or cash alternatives permitted, except Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. All decisions of the Administrator are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during entry periods.

Prize winners are solely responsible for any expenses in connection with the prize not expressly described herein as being awarded including, without limitation, the following (i) all taxes, including but not limited to income, federal, state and local taxes; (ii) any additional costs and expenses not described herein as being awarded. The renovation work must be performed on the home owned by the winner.

CONDITIONS: Failure by any potential winner to return any requested documents within the specified number of days after such documents are issued, the return of such documents or any prize notification as undeliverable, or non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification, and, at the sole discretion of Administrator the selection of an alternate winner, from among all remaining eligible entries received will be chosen, time permitting. Administrator and their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this sweepstakes, including, without limitation, the prize providers, are not responsible for: printing or other errors; mechanical errors; inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, illegible, late, lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged entries; or any delays in delivery of prize; or bodily injuries, death, losses or damages of any kind, without limitation, that may arise from or in connection with entrants’ participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of the prizes, or participation in prize-related activities. Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entries submitted fraudulently or otherwise not in accordance with these Official Rules. By accepting any prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor and its designees may use his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness, address (city and state), biographical information, prize information and/or statements about this sweepstakes for advertising and publicity purposes in all media worldwide at the discretion of the Sponsor without limitation, further compensation or notice.
